Oguri utilized data from the HSC, analyzing it to create a 3-dimensional dark matter map over an unprecedentedly vast region of the universe. His findings suggested that the current model of cosmic expansion might not align with results from cosmic microwave background radiation, which is regarded as the prevailing theory of cosmology.
