Life Technologies, Sino Biological Announce Partnership

Chinese biotech Sino biological Inc. and U.S. biotech Life Technologies have announced a partnership for worldwide product distribution and product development.

AsianScientist (Sep. 3, 2012) – U.S.-based biotechnology company Life Technologies Corporation and Chinese biotech company Sino Biological Inc. have announced a partnership for worldwide product distribution and product development.

Under the agreement, Life Technologies will distribute Sino Biological’s large portfolio of recombinant proteins, antibodies, and ELISA kits using its global distribution channels.

The two companies will also jointly develop new proteomic products for additional applications including flow cytometry and imaging technologies.

“The collaboration presents a tremendous opportunity to offer a robust proteomics portfolio to meet customer needs in this highly dynamic global market,” said Gregory T. Lucier, Chairman and CEO of Life Technologies.
