Lim received the 2024 Sandosham Gold Medal Award, the highest distinction of the Malaysian Society of Parasitology and Tropical Medicine, for her contributions to parasitology and tropical medicine, particularly research on host–parasite interactions, epidemiology and neglected tropical diseases.
