Lim was a recipient of the Academic Promotion Award at the 24th Korean L’Oréal-UNESCO Women in Science Awards ceremony in 2025. She was recognized for her research on the causes of Alzheimer’s disease at the molecular level and her efforts in the discovery of intracellular proteins that promote the toxicity of Alzheimer’s-inducing factors.
