Erdenechimeg received the 2024 Presidential Award for Young Scholars for his research in geophysics and geomagnetism. His work has helped reveal subsurface structures linked to tectonic processes, geothermal resources and mineral systems, contributing to a better understanding of Mongolia’s geodynamic evolution and natural resource potential.
