Tsai was awarded the 2024 IEEE Robert N. Noyce Medal for his leadership in the global semiconductor industry. He played a pivotal role in developing the mobile phone System-on-Chip market and introduced the “Turnkey Solutions” business model, making mobile communication technologies affordable to nearly everyone.
