Singapore’s Scientific Pioneers: A Tribute To Those Who Paved The Way

Singapore’s Scientific Pioneers was officially launched on August 29, 2015 at an ceremony held at Goodwood Park Hotel.

AsianScientist (Oct. 26, 2015) – On August 29, 2015, a book published by Asian Scientist celebrating 25 of Singapore’s pioneering scientists was officially launched at an event held at the Goodwood Park Hotel. Sponsored by grants from the SG50 Celebration Fund and Nanyang Technological University, Singapore’s Scientific Pioneers documents the lives of the scientists who played a role in developing the science and technology sector in Singapore, drawn from in-depth, one-on-one interviews.

Copies of the book will be distributed for free to school libraries, national libraries and scientific institutions across Singapore. A PDF version of the non-commercial book is also available for free download from https://www.asianscientist.com/pioneers/.
