Science Center Singapore
Featuring more than 1,000 exhibits in their galleries, kids and adults can learn about topics such as water conservation, the solar system, marine life and much more. Latest exhibits include a series of colorful sketches by Nobel Laureates on their discoveries, and the most ferocious exhibit yet – dinosaurs and ice age mammals coming to life at the Titans of the Past exhibition.
River Safari
If you think this is a typical stroll in a park – think again. Inspired by iconic rivers around the world, the park brings to Singapore the rivers of Mississippi, Congo, Nile, Ganges, Murray, Mekong and Yangtze in one jungle experience. You can expect to get muddy while experiencing the wildlife surrounding the rivers… we’re talking about alligators, freshwater stingrays and spider monkeys!
Singapore Botanic Gardens
Opt for this visit if you are looking for something relaxing and inspiring. The Singapore Botanic Gardens is perfect for a breezy stroll by the lakes, heritage trees, fruit trees and bamboo plantations. You can even indulge in some snacks at the garden-themed restaurant Food For Thought.
Underwater World Singapore
How does diving with sharks sound to you? This activity should be on your bucket list. If the thrill-seeker in you says yes, you should take a trip to Sentosa island, off the coast of Singapore. Step onto a moving travelator that takes you through an underwater tunnel surrounded by a splendid array of marine creatures.
ArtScience Museum
Set along the beautiful Singapore river with a breathtaking view of it, the ArtScience Museum is home to sophisticated art, music, science and architecture exhibits from around the world. The building exterior is designed to appear like a lotus flower, harvesting rainwater from its bowl-shaped roof in an effort to conserve and reuse water. With 21 gallery spaces available, there will always be room to host great exhibitions.
Singapore Discovery Center
When you step into the Singapore Discovery Center, you might not know where to start due to all the exciting lights, sounds and exhibits. Fret not, tour guides will bring you around the various attractions. Visit different rooms and portals to learn about Singapore’s progress since independence and even attempt to fight in a mock battlefield.
