This Teddy Bear Robot Was Made For Autistic Kids (VIDEO)

Meet Carinet, an artificial intelligence-equipped teddy bear robot with the ability to help autistic kids feel at ease during therapy.

AsianScientist (May. 24, 2016) – Meet Carinet the social robot teddy bear. A group of students from the National University of Singapore’s Social Robotics Lab invented her to help children with autism feel at ease during therapy sessions. The initial prototype, which is equipped with artificial intelligence, was on display at InnovFest unBound 2016, an innovation festival held in Singapore on May 17-18, 2016.
